KEYNOTE #1: Poppa Snoop and Mary Jane Oatman
Cannabis holds unique significance for both veterans and Indigenous communities, serving not only as an economic opportunity, but also as part of broader conversations around healing, sovereignty, advocacy, and social impact. This opening keynote will spotlight those themes through a brief conversation with Poppa Snoop, a decorated Vietnam veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and speaker of Cherokee heritage. Poppa Snoop will then introduce Mary Jane Oatman, a nationally recognized Indigenous cannabis leader and Executive Director of the Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association. Oatman, a member of the Nez Perce Tribe, descendant of the Delaware Tribe, and founder of the Indigenous Cannabis Coalition and publisher of THC Magazine.
